General manager Zoran Madon: Shortage of new apartments for people with income 1.500 EUR

18.07.2018
For many people, who are planning to purchase an apartmenz, the situation on real estate market is again alarming, because prices of residential real estates are rising.

General manager of our company shared his opinion regarding shortage of apartments in Ljubljana for people with lower income.

According to Statistical Office of Rebulics of Slovenija prices of secondary apartments rise for 11 %, prices of new apartments fo 25 % in comperence with the first quarter of this year and last year. Why? Because the offer is not adequate and the lack of new apatments affect the most people with income to 1.500 EUR - that means middle class and young adults.

What could be a solution? Uroš Mikanovič from Zadrugator sees the solution in housing cooperative which could become a counter weight on the real estate market in the future.  The fist one will be realized in 2022 in Rakova Ješla.
